…. a present that started to grow over 700 years ago.
…. its new shoots now owned by individuals across the World!
High above the little village of Knucklas in middle Wales, the community project known as KCCLP (Knucklas Castle Community Land Project) now has shareholders in London, Cambridge, Oxford, Telford, West Midlands, Worcester, West Yorkshire, California (USA) and Australia.
Will O’Leary (Chair) said “The Project’s central aim is to make sure the Castle site and its adjoining woodland and fields are all owned and enjoyed by the people of the whole Teme Valley so we are really keen to secure all the local interest first before the rest of the World starts buying more shares”
Whilst the directors of KCCLP are keen to spread the word about this Project ever further, they realise that this opens the door to greater International interest and share sales.
Local shareholders are vitally important to the future of the project that revolves around community fun, unity, fresh food growing, well-being, heritage education and the development of rural skills.
Over the next few years, the whole project will experience a great transition through the hands of its shareholders and it will be far easier if these shareholders are all from the Teme Valley.
Help is needed to keep this as local as possible so there is a big New Year wish going out to everyone in the Teme Valley and surrounding hills to buy their friends and family the very unusual and special gift of a share in the Community Project as soon as possible.
