Apple Day 2016

Our annual Apple Day is to be SUNDAY 30th OCTOBER, 2-5 pm.

Come to the orchard and see what our wonderful trees are doing this year, and bring your own fruit for pressing, eat some lovely home made apple cakes, let the kids have some fun games ……Applympics!!

Some pots handmade in Knucklas for Knucklas Castle Community Land Project by our Kate Ritchie and Tony Hall will be for sale!

 

King Arthur Pottery

inspired by the legend that Arthur married Guinevere at Knucklas Castle, the images base on the 12th Century mosaic in Otranto Cathedral, Southern Italy.
THIS LOVELY PLATE (made by our Kate Ritchie and Tony Hall) WILL BE RAFFLED. Anyone buying 20 shares will get a ticket.

Knighton Tree Allotments Trust meeting

Knighton Tree Allotments Trust talk and AGM on THURSDAY 25TH APRIL 2013 from 7.30–9.30p.m. at THE OFFA’S DYKE CENTRE.

There will be a talk on “Woodlands in Wales” by Guest Speaker KATH MCNULTY the CONFOR NATIONAL MANAGER FOR WALES

KTAT manages woodlands to allow its members and volunteers access to affordable woodland products such as firewood, timber, fruit and nuts. In coming together and sharing and learning woodland skills we aim to manage local woodlands sustainably and for the benefit of wildlife as well as our members. Do come and meet us to find out more about volunteering with KTAT and hear Kath update us on Welsh woods.

Heavy horse working 12-14 April

Knucklas fete 2022

Please put the date in your diary for this year and you will be entertained by the Black Crow Vikings, Dog agility & Dog shows, Children’s races, Classic cars, a Tea tent, Beer tent, BBQ, Wood-fired Pizza and many local stall holders  selling their wares.

King Arthur book

A wonderful new book has been written by one of our members for youngsters to enjoy the legend of King Arthur. Look on the Shop page to see details and purchase.

A new view of the castle using LiDR technology has become available, look here: LiDR survey

It raises some interesting questions about the way the castle has been used over the many years of its existence.
